But what are "disposal fees" and how are they charged???

...We're glad you asked!

​ Disposal Fees: 
      These are based on the weight of the debris you put in the trailer, and vary                            depending on the type of material your load is made up of...
  •      Clean Wood and Dimensional Lumber
                               $12.00 per 100 kg

  •      Mixed Construction Debris ( > 80% recyclable material )   
                               $16.50 per 100 kg
 
  •      General Garbage / Mixed Debris ( < 80% recyclable material )
                               $18.50 per 100 kg
  •      Green Waste and Yard Trimmings 
                               $14.00 per 100 kg
  •       Broken Concrete / Masonry / Soil 
                               $6.50 per 100 kg - limit of 4 cubic yards per load
  •       Drywall (Gypsum Board)
                               *$25.00 per 100 kg - Date stamped from 1990 onward
                               *$32.50 per 100 kg - No date stamp / date stamp prior to 1990
 * Drywall (gypsum board) cannot be co-mingled with any other materials within a given load. Non date stamped 
    board or board marked with a date stamp older than 1990 must be accompanied by analytical test results              showing that no asbestos is present. For more information about the rules and regulations surrounding

Okay, but are there any items that can't be placed in the trailer or will cost a little extra if they are???

...Well, unfortunately yes, a few. While we strive to limit the number of restrictions we place on our customers, in order to comply with industry regulations and maintain our own standards of environmental ethics, we do put a small number of surcharges and prohibitions on certain items and materials

​ Surcharge Items:
      We are able to take the following items, but a small surcharge is incurred as they must            be separated from the rest of the load and taken to different facilities... 
  •      Electronic Items (anything with a cord)
                               $5.00 each up to a maximum of $25.00

  •      Paints, Liquids and Aerosols
                               $5.00 each up to a maximum of $25.00 
 
  •      Propane Tanks
                               $5.00 each up to a maximum of $25.00
  •      Tires and Automative Fluids 
                               $10.00 each up to a maximum of $80.00
  •      Mattresses & Boxsprings
                               $30.00 each 
 Prohibited Items:
For a variety of reasons, there are certain items that cannot be co-mingled with other materials in your load. If you find yourself needing to dispose of any of these items, please give us a call @ 
  • Drywall (Gypsum Board)
  • Corrosive Liquids (containers marked with this symbol)
  • Unlabelled Paints and Chemicals 
  • Asbestos Containing Materials 

Wow! That's a lot of information to process! So when its all said and done, how much will this service cost me???

...Every load we see is a little different, but here are a couple examples of typical loads to help give you an idea of the final cost. 

​ Example #1:
     This is an example of a typical site clean-up and disposal service during the framing               stages of residential property under construction. Loads of this nature typically consist           primarily of wood waste. 
  •    15 cubic yard trailer  =                                                    $149.00
  •    1100 kg of Clean Wood Debris ($12.00 per 100 kg) =                + $132.00
  •    Loading labour  -  2 workers x 1.5 hours =                                    + 90.00                                                                             = $371.00 + GST                                                                                                       
​ Example #2:
     This is an example of a large load that would come from a commercial construction site         and would include a variety of different material used throughout the construction                   process. Typically, we encounter loads of this nature when contractors choose to use             our site clean-up services and disposal trailers instead of a roll off bin for reasons of               site accessibility (a roll off bin will not fit in the loading area) and or security (members             of the public are using the roll off bin for their own garbage when it is unattended). 
  •   18 cubic yard trailer  =                                                       $149.00
  •    1650 kg of Mixed Construction Debris ($16.50 per 100 kg) =   + $272.25
  •    Loading labour - 2 workers x 2.0 hours =                                   + $120.00                                                                                             = $541.25 + GST
