Solutions.
Our mission is to provide environmentally conscious, cost effective junk removal solutions, and this is how we do it!

1
Trailers, not Dump Trucks
The primary reason our services cost less than our competitors is simple, dump trucks cost a lot more than trailers! For the price of one of the small dump trucks used by many of our competitors, you could purchase ten or more of the trailers that we use to remove rubbish. On top of that, dump trucks burn a lot of fuel and like any vehicle, need to be maintained mechanically. Because we use only two full sized pickup trucks to service our entire fleet of trailers, and the trailers themselves require very little maintenance, it means our overhead stays low, and we pass those savings on to you!
2
Self-Serve Trailer Drop-Off
One of the reasons that junk removal services offered by other companies can be so costly, is that expensive hourly labour costs for loading and unloading are automatically included in the price. Cleaning up months or even years of household clutter can take several hours and pretty soon what you thought was a small job can end up costing several hundred dollars! With self-serve trailer drop off you 'll have 48 hours to load your household junk at your own pace, and never have to worry about paying extra for labour! And for those of you don't want to be bothered with all that loading, dont worry, we can do that for you too!

Commitment to the Environment
At Big Lug Disposal & Recycling we are passionate about doing our part to make sure British Columbia will always be one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Company founder and former BC Lions offensive lineman Dean Valli is an avid outdoor enthusiast, regularly participates in environmental awareness programs in schools throughout the province, and holds a degree in geography from Simon Fraser University. When it comes to doing business, we take pride in doing the little things. If that means climbing into an trailer full of rubbish to make sure nothing ends up in a landfill that shouldn't be there, or going out of our way to find somewhere to donate used clothing and furniture, then that is what we'll do!
